Drop-Off Vet Service

We understand that life can get busy — and finding time for a vet visit isn’t always easy.

That’s why Nimble Veterinary Hospital offers a convenient drop-off service, allowing you to leave your pet in our care during the day while we carry out their appointment.

This service is ideal if you’re unable to attend a consultation during normal hours, or if your pet needs extra time to settle in before their check-up or treatment. It also gives our team the flexibility to perform a thorough examination and any required investigations without rushing, all while keeping your pet calm and comfortable.

How It Works

Book a Drop-Off Appointment

We recommend booking your pet in between 8:30 am and 10:00 am on the day of their visit. This allows us plenty of time to care for your pet and fit their examination into our schedule.

Check-In With a Nurse

When you arrive, one of our friendly nurses will greet you and check your pet in. You’ll be asked to complete a brief information form to provide details of your pet’s symptoms, history, or any concerns you’d like the vet to investigate.

Veterinary Assessment

Your pet will be cared for in a quiet, comfortable space. Once settled, our vet will perform a thorough examination, and if further diagnostics or treatments are required, we’ll call you to discuss our findings and next steps.

Stay Contactable

Please make sure we can reach you during the day. We may need to talk through test results, treatment options, or collect your consent for procedures.

Collection Time

After your pet’s assessment or treatment is complete, we’ll arrange a suitable collection time. Our nurse will go through any discharge notes, medications, or follow-up recommendations when you return.
