Meet our Team

Issie has always had a deep love for animals - big, small, fluffy, or sneeze-inducing - and found herself drawn to vet nursing after realising she wanted a career that made a real difference. With an interest in biology and a passion for animal care, she’s now an integral part of the Nimble Vets team, where her calm nature, clinical curiosity, and gentle hands help both pets and their people feel at ease.

She especially enjoys the hands-on clinical work and learning new skills, but says the best part of the job is meeting all the unique, wonderful animals that come through the clinic doors and being part of their journey to better health.

At home, Issie’s world is wonderfully full: she shares it with her cheeky Cavalier, Fred, and four rescue cats, Poppy, Minerva, Rose, and Gus. Feeding time can be chaos, but there’s no shortage of love. Poppy, a stray who charmed her way into everyone's hearts at the clinic, now runs the household. Minnie and Rose were once “ferocious” foster kittens who’ve become affectionate, elegant ladies, and Gus,  her first hand-reared baby, is Fred’s best mate and partner in mischief.

Outside of work, Issie loves getting lost in a good book, sketching, writing, and diving headfirst into films and TV shows (often becoming way too emotionally invested, in the best way possible).
