Meet our Team

Misaki has been working in the veterinary industry for 10 years, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership, and heartfelt compassion to Nimble Vets. She studied Zoology and Marine Biology at university, followed by hands-on zookeeping training at both Taronga and Western Plains Zoo. While her early focus was on wildlife and conservation, her passion eventually led her to the world of companion animals, where she found her true calling in vet nursing.

As Practice Manager and Head Nurse at Nimble Vets, Misaki is dedicated to creating a clinic culture where both pets and their owners feel supported, cared for, and understood. She’s passionate about nurturing a positive and progressive environment for her team and hopes to be a steady, guiding presence at the heart of the clinic. She also loves getting to know each animal’s unique personality and being there through every stage of their lives, from first vaccinations to golden years.

At home, Misaki shares life with six rescue cats - Sora, Daichi, Rusty, November, Yuzu, and Mofu, each with their own quirks and charms.  When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her exploring nature walks around Sydney or curled up on the couch with a book, a blanket, and a lap full of cats.
